Meter on a Hydrant

The Department offers residents the use of a meter on a hydrant to fill pools during the Spring, Summer, and Fall.

The hydrant must be located on the same side of the street as the residence.

The Water Department will also provide hose free of charge for those residents who request it.

For Southington Water Department customers, please complete the Meter on Hydrant Form and return to the office with your deposit. 

For residents who have private wells, the Department offers the same service. Please complete the Meter on Hydrant Form - Private Well and return to the office with your deposit.
